The Motor City Lyric Opera's success is made possible through a balance of contributions and ticket sales. Ticket sales make up less than 40% of our much needed funds that allow to produce our performances. Each and every donation to The Motor City Lyric Opera is vital to our operation.

The contributions we received from the community last season allowed us to present affordable and accessible opera to the students and families of Metropolitan Detroit. Your gift helps to fund our Opera on Wheels Educational Outreach Program. We travel to numerous schools, reaching over 10,000 students who may not have otherwise had an opportunity to be exposed to opera each year.
